Kanza
The Kanza packet
Riding with my neighbor Adam who soon moves to China, and the gravemaker
Got some good miles in before I left for texas ~190. Plan on doing about 200-300 this week pending on the weather. Got my DK200 packet in the mail the other day and am getting more and more excited about this race. I plan on trying to race this event and give it my all and see how that ends up....there will be some heavy hitters in the main group so we will see if I can keep up. Glad that everyone that attended the wolfy100 had a great time and props to Mark B on the good riding last week. As Giggles said...we are going to rip the tits off of dirty kanza! Get out and ride!!!

Texas
Heading to Texas with Jill and my twin brother Matt to visit my mom for 5 days. Will be off of the bike but doing some cross training while down there: this will include running, sit ups, getting hammered, eating tex mex, wandering searching for my own "its a beaver!" t-shirt, describing things by putting "Big-o-" in front of them, staring at peoples mullets, and tanning in my banana hammock. Have a good weekend....back on the bike come monday...large mileage week followed by gravel metric, followed by another good mileage week. To everyone riding the Wolfy....enjoy and have a vodka and club for me. HOOOWWWWLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

The Legend
R.I.P. Larry Lorenz, a very well known rep for the midwest and especially Illinois passed away this Monday. I have known Larry since my first job at a bike shop back in 2001 at RRB Cycles in Mundelein, IL. Larry was a rep for Shimano, Serfas, Bellwether, Yakima, and a number of other companies. His presence was always one that was enjoyed and he truly loved the cycling industry. You will be missed Larry!
