T.I.V10 Post in the Works

I am working on a full recap of my fourth go at Trans Iowa.

This one was incredibly special to me, words can't begin to describe. 

Finished amongst 18 others of 104 that started.

Overhaulin

Full overhaul on the bike, new tires, chain, brake pads, bar tape...overhauling hubs, BB, headset, full cleaning. Appease the Iowa Gods.

NCC 10 Year

Stopped by the old shop for the 10th anniversary of the NCC name. The shop has been a bike store for more than 90 years and is a great location in downtown DeKalb. I worked there for half of this time and like to think that I had a role in the direction the shop has gone. The new logo and theme of the shop is great and Tobie and all of the guys have done a great job with it. I've had some really great memories at this shop and wish these guys another successful 10 years.

Training Camp: Jo Daviess County

I don't have much to say about this post except this was one of the best days I've had all year. Full of special people in a special place. Great training for the big dance in 3 weeks. We are getting prepared and are ready to put up a fight! 80 miles in Jo Daviess county is like 150 anywhere else....the legs are shot, so much climbing!
